Cashless Economy = No Corruption The idea is 100% good. It will work towards eradication of corruption that is a bane on Indian society. My big question is : "Will it work in today's India?" Let's assume that India goes cashless economy. People are using credit cards, debit cards, e-wallets etc. Imagine a remote Indian village. Someone falls suddenly ill in a farmer's family. The farmer needs money to take him to a doctor. The farmer has a debit card but no money in the account. He is already CASHLESS (in the bank account) How will this cashless-money transfer system help him? What will this farmer do for money? As of today, for any emergency the farmer can borrow some cash from some good hearted people and meet the expenses but this may not be possible in the envisaged cashless economy.
